Director's Message

The Criminal Intelligence Service New Brunswick (CISNB) brings together the law enforcement community in the province to share criminal information and intelligence. We support law enforcement efforts to detect, disrupt and prevent organized crime and other serious crime through the collection, analysis and dissemination of criminal intelligence.

CISNB ensures that the provincial law enforcement community is aware of the nature and scope of organized crime and other serious crime threats in the province. The criminal intelligence products produced by CISNB are available to leaders in the law enforcement community to set operational priorities and identify targets for joint force operations.

The CISNB mandate also includes ensuring that the public is informed of the nature and scope of organized crime and its consequences on the citizens of New Brunswick. Our communiqués and this website are key tools to assist in relaying information to the public.
