About CISNB > CISNB Membership

CISNB has several member agencies with whom we share intelligence about organized and serious crime in New Brunswick. The exchange of criminal information and intelligence between member agencies is done in accordance with existing Privacy and Access to Information legislation.

CISNB has three categories of membership. Category I membership  is limited to federal, provincial, regional and municipal police services in New Brunswick where the primary role of the agency is law enforcement. Category II membership is granted to an agency that has specific law enforcement authority provided under specific federal and/or provincial legislation. Category III membership is granted to an agency with no direct law enforcement authority but provides assistance to law enforcement agencies. To be a member of CISNB, each agency must demonstrate meaningful participation to the intelligence process.
