Governance for CISNB is provided by a Provincial Executive Committee. It is comprised of the Chiefs of Municipal and Regional Police Forces, Senior Officers of the RCMP, one representative from the Canada Border Services Agency and one senior representative from the N.B. Department of Public Safety. The Executive Committee meets at least twice a year, or at the call of the Chair, to review the operation of the Bureau and to provide strategic direction to CISNB on improving intelligence products.
The staff of the provincial bureau is comprised of RCMP employees, Public Service employees and seconded employees from member agencies.

The Operations Manager facilitates training opportunities, as well as the sharing and storage of criminal information/intelligence according to privacy and access to information legislation.
The Automated Criminal Intelligence Information System (ACIIS) Team provides training to and works with users of the national intelligence database to ensure the upload of quality information.
The Analytical Team uses various sources of information/intelligence to forecast future threats within the province, assess the level of threat posed by organized crime groups and provide assistance to investigations.
